Faunia Smith is an Artist and an Australian Naturopath. She describes it as a sanctuary from the outside world. Her art is a lesson of precision and bold colour statements. 

Faunia has always had a passion for drawing and painting alongside her love of nature and natural medicine. The paintings represent an experience of life through this lens.  

In 2024 Faunia was selected as the sole international artist painting the magnificent Tottori Prefecture on traditional Aoya Inshu Washi Paper made locally at Aoya Washi Studio.

Recent watercolours are painted on Aoya Inshu Washi paper, handmade by artisans in Tottori, Japan. Washi Paper is of supreme quality and lasts hundreds of years.

Earlier artworks include acrylics on pre-stretched canvas and watercolours on acid-free paper.
